Recently, "Ceramic Information" learned during a visit to the Tengxian production area in Guangxi that 44 ceramic production lines that had been plagued by power shortages have recently restored power in an orderly manner.

Power rationing begins in early July

At the beginning of July, the Teng County production area in Guangxi, which has been developing rapidly in recent years, suspended 9 production lines due to power cuts and kiln renovations. On July 14, the power shortage escalated again - Teng County issued a statement on the same day. The "Tengxian County People's Government's Notice on Promoting National Electricity Savings" was issued, advocating that all enterprises and institutions in the county save electricity. By the evening of that day, due to power restrictions, another 9 production lines in the Tengxian production area were stopped.
On August 9, 13 ceramic companies in Teng County, Guangxi received notices to temporarily suspend production (only a few ceramic companies in the county have not stopped production). The kilns are in a warm kiln state, and the time for resumption of production is temporarily uncertain.
In September, as coal prices entered a period of skyrocketing "one price a day", the national power shortage worsened again. With the launch of Mona Lisa and Oceano on September 14 and 16 The company has successively issued announcements on the suspension of production at the Tengxian base, and the power rationing and production suspension of Tengxian ceramics has entered its peak period.
As of September 22, with the orderly dispatch of power in Guangxi, the Mona Lisa Teng County Base has implemented a peak-staggered production model with 5 production lines open and 2 production lines stopped, while the Oceano Teng County Base has achieved the start-up of 3 production lines. On September 28, in order to solve the difficulties of coal-fired power enterprises and ensure the safe supply of electricity in Guangxi, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued the "Notice on Adjusting the Pre-settlement Price for Excessive Power Generation of Power Generation Enterprises in 2021", which will reduce the excess power generation of coastal power plants. The provisional settlement price for electricity volume was adjusted from 0.31694 yuan/kWh to the government-approved on-grid electricity price of 0.4147 yuan/kWh, an increase of 30.84%;
The temporary settlement price for excess power generation of inland power plants will be adjusted from 0.33694 yuan/kWh to the government-approved on-grid electricity price of 0.4227 yuan/kWh, an increase of 25.45%.
With the adjustment of electricity prices in Guangxi, the power supply of industrial enterprises in Teng County has been restored in an orderly manner.
On September 30, the Office of the Orderly Use of Electricity Group of Teng County issued the "Notice on Orderly Use of Electricity to Electricity Users in the County", arranging orderly use of electricity for enterprises with low energy consumption and high output value, as well as enterprises above general regulations.
As of October 22, the power supply of Zhonghe Ceramics Industrial Park in Teng County has been restored in an orderly manner. 13 ceramic companies in the park have put into operation a total of 24 production lines, which has restored to 71% of the 34 production lines in the first half of the year. Follow-up With the gradual restoration of power and the completion of park maintenance and technical transformation of production lines, the operating rate of Tengxian ceramic production lines will further increase.

After half a year of renovation and construction, the renovation has been completed. Three production lines are planned to be ignited for trial production in early November.
